From what i have seen on the internet the prices for this kind of sheels is between 200$ and over 1000$ . I need more pictures to say an estimate price for your sheel but anyway it worth minimum 200$.
You should have posted more pictures of it (the one ate the bottom where the opening is is the most important). I can't tell that's ether from the Bufonaria or the Bursa family, however in ether case it's not on the level of an Argonautidae. Depending on the level of damage its price can range from 15 to 25 euro (that's about 27 dollars tops) but no more than that.
Depends on the condition of the shell. And what do you mean by rare shell because it look same like any other shell and can you hear the sea sound ? You have to put near to your ears and the siund will come from the shell.
Its a silly shell, you spending more money trying to find out what it's worth. Rather make a nice display for it in house and enjoy for discovery which i am sure comes with some kind of story you can share with anyone who asks.
That shell alone is not very valuable. To increase its value you could collect some more cool shells and create something with them. Some ideas may be to put them in a lamp or a jar and then sell it as artwork. I have seen stuff like that go for over $500 dollars.
I think it is valuable at decorating something. Especially, service design for displaying is adequate at it. Maybe it can't be a core item for display design. But it can represent weird or sea feeling as background.
In my country, this kind items are sold for display design. In general, a few of pieces' bundle is sold.
paziella pazi, this one is huge(4.5 inch long), found in caribbean sea and off the coast of florida. price might vary perhaps sell it to a collector can get around $300, if its not a replica. gud luck
it's not really that rare, it's a pretty common shell here in italy, I think it depends by where you found it but I guess it won't cost more than 3 dollars
ah i think everything has unlimited value , although if you were planning on selling it for a fixed price i would say it would be bought for couple hundred or more depending where you found it.
I am not an expert but lived on water more than land and came cross a lots if sea creatures but this is very hard to put price on as we dont know from where about was picked up and the year also few more pictures from different angle can be very helpful, lastly dose it have any visible cracks? Selling it to the right person can earn you a lot. Collectors pay from £1 - £1000.
based on the quality of the shell, how there are no cracks and no shards coming off I believe you could sell if for aprox. $25-30. I believe that the latin name for the shell is murex turnispina. thanks
the value of this shell is 75 usd and when you find the right buyer the would pay you max 200 usd. When you would like to sell it as soon as possible you only get 25 USD.
The cost of Rare Shell ranges from $10-$50 Depending upon Uniqueness ,You can get this on http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEASHELLS-TYPHIS-PERCHARDEI-MARTINIQUE-RARE-SHELLS-/192134490243?hash=item2cbc1ba883:g:YtwAAOSwT6pVtC~u
my parenta have a shop in the beach and they sell those kind of things. Its around 8$, but if you say its in a perfect contition lets say 10$ cant go for more.
Don't sell it. Keep it for you. you won't get rich from selling it . But if you put it on the shelve it will always remind you of your travel or the trip or the travel target. it's gorgeous
