There are plenty of options, However I think you'll find that people will throw pretty much all of these away and that they will google an electrician or check their emails for who they used last time. That said I think a nice design will help those who are the sort to keep the business cards for next time actually keep them. Here's an example you could customise and use.

If you want something out of the ordinary take not a buisnees card but something else. you remeber something not because it is on a card but because it was interessting.
Unfortunatly this strategy will be a lot more expensive than plain cards.
You could give out a piece of old wires braided together that serve as a key chain. you can attach a card on that with your name and job
you could find something that people can plug into their electric outlet.
you could print on lightbulbs and give those away for free
If you want to stay with cards you will have to get creative. Or have someone do that for you.
you could take your business cards and print a 10% off on the next job if they return the card.
Or you could offer a free check up and just check the essentials (if you find something that only takes 20 mins to check people will feel happy that you cared about them and think they got something for free and you wont loose too much of your time)
This is an example/card an electrical company that my buddy owns uses with extremely good feedback. https://www.facebook.com/1578085052448975/posts/2985032875087512/?d=n
Also I’m in the metal working Business and if you wanted to really stand out i could draw something similar to your current card and burn you out metal custom cards.

I think this is nice, but if you do it in the form of a magnet, they will hang it anywhere and not throw it away. :))

Business cards are thrown away. Advertise with different materials instead of business cards. Use items such as a phone number, a fabric key ring with a shop name or a pen instead of a business card. or a magnetic business card for attaching to refrigerators. These materials are not easily thrown away and are always in the hands of people.
Hi Zeus. You are right, most business cards end up in the trash, nowadays people prefer to look for services on the Internet. However, I thought you could create a card that contains your contact details and a QR code, so that when people scan it with their cell phone they can call your phone number automatically. The card can be made with magnetic paper so that people can stick it on the fridge door or somewhere else. If you add a good design, you can create a useful card that people will want to keep.
There is a website where you can generate the qr code to receive calls, just put in your phone number: https://blog.qr4.nl/QR-Code-Telephone.aspx. You can download that qr code and design a card in any design website, here you have an example I made: https://www.canva.com/design/DAEWeXLIghc/-9fY16mG7D2ApND4OVEsiA/view?utm_content=DAEWeXLIghc&utm_campaign=designs&utm_mediumsourceshare=utm_link
Alternatively you can also use nfc buisness cards which can store contact info
You can find some on amazon

Several great options are online that provide interesting options based on your budget and taste.
One such option is a pure metal business card(metal of your choice to be used) at a bit higher price point.

For ideas with a traditional card stock I recommend Zazzle. See link to follow. https://www.zazzle.com/electrician+business+cards
Best of luck.
instead of business cards you can hand out pocket size cards with a list of emergency numbers... add yours next to electrician and add a magnet to it so they can stick it on the fridge.
You can make customers who contract your services with the business card get a 20% discount on the final price of the service, so people will want to keep their card.
Good morning. I do not know if anyone else has mentioned this, its called Vista Print. I've used it before, and it does have some very unique designs, and does ship to Australia. You get 500 free cards, just pay S&H...which i am not sure how much that will be for you, as all places have different rates. It was $15 for me. Worth it for 500 free cards. Hope you find what you're looking for. 😊
