I think bitcoincash can be the new digital currency of the world. The transcations fee are low and that serves merchants. It can be the gold coin rather than bitcoin that its fees are high and it can be considered as ponzi sheme. another point , bitcoin cash increase adoption through different platforms that tips its users bitcoin cash for posting content : I can mention readcash : https://read.cash/r/cashboa
despite bitcoin fail using tipping platforms to increase adoption : changetip and zapchain are closed.

I think bitcoin will one day be a basic currency that is valid almost everywhere in the world, but it is sooner for this because people are discovering these new crypto coins, these crypto coins need to reach more users in this, crypto currencies should be advertised and encouraged by the state, but it when bitcoin is used by all

Frankly, it is impossible that BTC will become the single, universal and mandatory currency. Single, because human interactions are so different all over the world that only among blockchain based technologies we have (and we will have) dozens alternatives, more recent chains able to do better for everyday tasks. And we will arrive to a situation where a blockchain based currency is better (or legal, or accepted) by a group of people, a geograhic region and so on.
Universal, again as above, impossible because of the number of transactions that can be found nowadays on BTC blockchain. It'll be far bettere in the future I think, but nothing sufficient to become so widespread and universal.
Mandatory, as above, impossible: digital currencies will be probably state delivered, so you'll have many alternative currencies all over the world, and bitcoin could become a way to unify this currencies world.
Just like gold, that was exactly what founder(s) wanted to create. Gold is the best representation for BTC now (and in the future). Hope it'll be useful for you.

I don't believe BTC will be a universal currency per se. First off, it's too damn expensive now for 99.999% of the population. Second of all, it's still very much a prototype for the "perfect" crypto currency and a number of flaws existed that need to be shaken out, in particular security of the wallets and payment systems to support it. I do believe that currency will go into a crypto form soon or later within the next 30 years. That's simply a practical path. I do believe we will have personally-worn access to our bank accounts and finance as well, maybe even embedded in our skin to control it at all times. That's already doable with RFID chips; we just haven't built the transactional side of it yet. However, I do not believe BTC will be the standard because governments have to support it for the currency to work. To date, governments are agnostic to BTC and prefer a crypto currency they can control. That factor alone will continue to block anything that exists right now.

I have thought for a long while now that some form of digital currency will definately become the only money available due to all of those contactless ways of life we're beginning to adapt. I think it's only a matter of time before paper money and coin will cease to exist.
