This program is wonderful, you can control the PC from the TV even with your mobile.

It's called My Asus (I can't tell you if it works for non-Asus devices, But it sure can be made to work)

It works really well for viewing and controlling the PC from other devices.

Open Google Chrome on your PC—you’ll need it to mirror your screen.
Click the Chrome menu button and choose “Cast” from the list.
Click the dropdown that appears to cast a Chrome tab, cast your entire desktop, or cast a video from a supported website like Netflix.

What you have to do to be able to see your computer screen on TV with a Chromecast is to open Chrome, click on the options icon (the one with the three dots), and choose the Send option. A window will automatically open to connect to the Chromecast, although by default it is preconfigured to send only one tab. Now you have to click on Send to that appears in the blue bar of the Chromecast connection window, and the screen sharing options will be displayed. By default, the one chosen is Send Tab, but if you select Send Desktop, you will send the entire screen as you see it on the computer
