EnglishWas there any unusual trading activity/blockchain transfers before Elon's Tweet on the 13th of May that crashed the crypto markets?

It can be anything, from know wallets, cold storage, large transactions, shorting positions that we should be looking at.

Tesla has suspended vehicle purchases using Bitcoin. We are concerned about rapidly increasing use of fossil fuels for Bitcoin mining and transactions, especially coal, which has the worst emissions of any fuel.

Cryptocurrency is a good idea on many levels and we believe it has a promising future, but this cannot come at great cost to the environment.

Tesla will not be selling any Bitcoin and we intend to use it for transactions as soon as mining transitions to more sustainable energy. We are also looking at other cryptocurrencies that use <1% of Bitcoin’s energy/transaction.

Here is a thought. I noticed, when doing my taxes this year before April 15th, a space on the tax form mentioned interest wether or not a person owned or had digital such as bitcoin, so it may behove the affected community to try to reestablish off shore accounts in places such as Jersey or Malta. That may have been in association with an off handed warning by the IRS to negate traffic in finance til they are better able to have their manned and financially bring pressure to bare on gathering of revenue from bitcoin/blockchain commodities.

Why would one even need to inform the irs when everything is on a public blockchain? Besides why should they be profiting of from our assets? Don't you think it's moreso because they are losing control over the financial world that all these new rules and laws are being implemented? Just my thoughts.

Bitcoin plunged as much as 17% after Elon Musk tweeted Tesla Inc had stopped accepting bitcoin to purchase its vehicles due to climate concerns on Thursday morning.
The price of the world's largest cryptocurrency dropped from around $54,819 to $45,700, its lowest since March 1, in just under two hours following the tweet.

No it wasn't. Its for reducing the use of non renewable sources of energy like fossil fuels as they are used in bitcoin mining. It has nothing to do with unusual trading activity.

Tesla has suspended vehicle buys utilizing Bitcoin. We are worried about quickly expanding utilization of non-renewable energy sources for Bitcoin mining and exchanges, particularly coal, which has the most noticeably terrible emanations of any fuel.

Digital money is a smart thought on numerous levels and we trust it has a promising future, yet this can't come at incredible expense for the climate.

Tesla won't sell any Bitcoin and we mean to utilize it for exchanges when mining advances to more economical energy. We are additionally taking a gander at other digital currencies that utilization <1% of Bitcoin's energy/exchange.

According to Elon Musk 'Bitcoin is almost as much of a hoax as fiat money.' So Musk considers both Bitcoin and fiat money to be bullshit. I agree, I just think that Bitcoin, which is a digital fiat currency, is even more nonsense than the paper fiat currency issued by central banks. Gold is not silly. It's real money and better than both! " the digital money skeptic tweeted.

Analysts Say BTC Still in a Bull Run As Whales and Institutions Buy the Dip

Last week, Bitcoin dropped to $30,000, a level it last touched in January. Elon Musk's tweets and China's crackdown on crypto had traders selling BTC in a frenzy. The effects were felt throughout the market as almost all coins posted heavy drops. However, as people speculate about the bull run being over, analysts and whales believe otherwise.

In an article published by Chainalysis chief economist Philip Gradwell, he pointed out key indicators that suggest Bitcoin could still reclaim higher ground in coming months. According to Chainalysis, corrections higher than 25% in a bull run are not an anomaly and this drop seems to be fueled by retail traders while institutions have more or less stayed put.

According to Bloomberg Intelligence, the fall of the crypto market on the back of BTC was a sign of crypto entering the mainstream. The dip has made it a ''discounted bull market'' as coins are now available at a lower price with upward potential.

Willy Woo, a popular BTC analyst, also stated that this is not the end of the bull market. ''We haven't seen any kind of mania,'' Woo said. ''We dumped down from a level which was highly organic; no speculative premium.'' He further stated that the network health favors Bitcoin and while it may take time to recover, we're still in a bull market.

1st A similar thing happened earlier this year and happens every few years at least - so I don't fully attribute the drop in Bitcoin value to anything Elon Musk or anyone else in particular did;

2nd When Elon gifted the Dogecoin to his child it indicated that he had turned to investing heavily in it. His comments about how much more efficient Doge is to use as a day-to-day currency after the announcement of Tesla no longer using Bitcoin as a commercial asset/currency (yet still retaining an enormous quantity as a wealth store) seem to back up my contention that he's looking to shift crypto currencies for Tesla vehicles ---- no exaggeration, Doge uses more than 5000 Kw/h of energy and, of course, has much lower network fees and can be sent/received much more quickly.

These are just my own observations and thoughts on the matter.
